splotの種類

図の種類を指定するオプションはplotと同じくwith styleであ り，styleには現在(Ver.4.6.1)，plotと同じものを選択できます（エラーに ならないという意味）が，意味のあるも図が得られるのは次のものでplotに比べ て少ないです．

pm3d, lines(l), points(p), linespoints(lp),vectors(vec), dots(d),impulses(i)

指定しても3次元では無意味であったり，期待通りにならないものを以下に並べ ます．

filledcurves(filledc), histograms(hist), boxes, steps(st), fsteps(fst), histeps(histe), errorbars(e), xerrorbar(xer), yerrorbars(yer), xyerrorbars(xyer), errorlines(errorl), xerrorlines(xerrorl), yerrorlines(yerrorl), xyerrorlines(xyerrorl), financebars, candlesticks, boxerrorbars(boxer), boxxyerrorbars(boxx), boxplot, circles(cir), ellipses(ell), rgbimage(rgbima), rgbalpha(rgba), lables

gnuplotでは識別が可能であれば省略名を用いることができ，括弧内は最大限省略 した場合の記述文字を示しています．なお，一般には末尾側から省略していくの ですが，linespointsだけは例外的に，途中の省略を許しています．
