早速ですが、pgnuplotを起動してコマンドラインにてやってみました。

gnuplot>set term png font "../winnt/fonts/msgothic.ttc"
---以下、リプライメッセージ---

Could not find/open font when opening font ../winnt/fonts/msgothic.ttc using default
Options are 'nocrop medium size 640,480'

開けないようなので、ドライブ指定の以下に変えてみました。

gnuplot>set term png font "c:/winnt/fonts/msgothic.ttc"
---以下、リプライメッセージ---
Terminal type set to 'png'
Options are 'nocrop font c:/winnt/fonts/msgothic.ttc 12 size 640,480

若干メッセージが替わっているのですが、nocropという言葉が微妙な気がします。
（辞書で調べると、crop=収穫　という意味らしいので。。。）
ただし、フォントをセットした後だとplotコマンドでplotしても、グラフが表示されませんでした。。。

とりあえず上記をふまえて、perl（pgnuplot呼び出し元）から以下のソースを起動してみました。

set term png transparent size 360,252 font "c:/winnt/fonts/MSGOTHIC.TTC" 7
set title "日本"

set output "$output_png"
plot sin(x)


実行結果は、やはりタイトルの日本語が文字化けします。
（ちなみに、MSGOTHICをMSMINCHOでやると、英数字はゴシックから明朝に変わっています）
（perlの構文をEUC,SHIFT-JISどちらでやっても文字化けします）

何か他に手はあるのでしょうか？
